Automower® Winter Servicing

Like all lawn mowers an Automower® requires annual servicing to keep it running efficiently and to maintain the manufacturers warranty.

We offer three service plans as set out below:

Bronze Plan

Timings, Exclusions and Other Fees

Timings:

Mowers will generally be serviced/collected in November/December each year. Mowers on the Gold plan will normally be returned to site in February/March subject to weather conditions at the time.

Fees:

Mowers not collected on time will incur a storage fee of £5 per week plus VAT

All invoices must be paid for in full before collection from our store or before a mower is delivered back to site.

    Every third year, your robot mower needs a little extra work done during the service such as replacing the sealing strips, ventilation filter and bellows. There will be an additional cost of £60 on top of your selected plan.


    Frequently Asked Questions

    My Automower® is still under warranty, does it need serviced?
    Your Husqvarna Automower® warranty is conditional on your mower being serviced every year.  As an authorised Husqvarna dealer, our service plans are carried out in accordance with your Husqvarna service schedules to ensure that your warranty period is protected.

    What does the service include?
    Our qualified Husqvarna Technician will clean the Automower®, replace the blades, run a full system diagnostic check, carry out an inspection of bellows, cables, ventilation filter and check fastenings, update your mower to the latest software,  run battery and safety functions test and charge your Automower® battery.

    Please note, service does not include any work to the installation such as repairs to the boundary wires.

    I don’t want to service my Automower®, is there anything I should do to keep the mower in good condition?
    We recommend you have the Automower® serviced to ensure your mower is covered by the Husqvarna warranty and is configured by a trained Husqvarna technician.  However,  if you decide not to service then the following should be done:

    • The Automower® should be cleaned, wiped dry and stored in frost-free conditions
    • The charging station should be cleaned, wiped dry and stored in frost-free conditions
    • The loop wire should remain in the lawn
    • The Automower® should be fully charged before storing it for the winter.
    • The Automower® should be fully charged once every three months when in storage
