Do I need to be in to accept deliveries?
It is best that someone is in to accept the deliveries if possible however we can ask the couriers to leave deliveries in a safe place identified by the customer.
Important Restrictions to consider:
We use tail-lift delivery vehicles and pallet trucks to move the pallets. Pallet trucks can only be used on firm, level ground such as concrete, tarmac or monoblock. We cannot use them on loose gravel or slopes so an alternative location will need to be identified.
Terrain must be relatively level to operate the tail-lift. This should be considered for sites on a slope as it may be too dangerous to unload the vehicle on certain slopes.
If either of the above apply to your property please contact us before placing an order. For deliveries with restricted access please consider or netted products which may be easier for you to move by hand if required.
WHAT VEHICLES WILL YOU USE?
Local deliveries will be made with a 7.5 tonne delivery vehicle in the Stirling, Clackmannanshire, West Fife, and Falkirk Areas. Dimensions can be seen below.
ALL OTHER DELIVERIES
Our premium quality Kiln Dried logs and Briquette are delivered nationally via our partner distribution network. Vehicles will usually be delivery trucks with a tail-lift so that pallets can be lowered by the driver. The largest size is usually an 18 tonne lorry up to 13m long (similar to most bin lorries) however we have requested a 7.5 tonne vehicle be used for our deliveries where one is available.
