Heat & BBQ Care Pack – For Heat and Grill, and Gourmet BBQ Models
Basically, everything we think you need to get you cooking with your Chesneys Heat and BBQ purchase!
1. Kiln Dried Logs
Four nets of our Woodsure Ready to Burn approved kiln dried hardwood logs. These logs are perfect to use for heat. Simply pop a couple of logs on top of the embers left from cooking. Sit back and enjoy the warmth! These logs could also be used for cooking if a quick heat is required. We’ve used them to cook burgers on the Heat and Grill at our Stirling showroom with great results!
2. Restaurant Grade Charcoal
Two bags of Restaurant Grade Lumpwood Charcoal (minimum 12kg per bag). This charcoal should not be confused with manufactured Charcoal Briquettes as they are not suitable for use in the Chesneys range. These restaurant grade lumpwood briquettes tend to flavour the food rather than taint it which the Charcoal briquettes can sometimes do. Use this restaurant grade charcoal to grill burgers, vegetables, chicken, fish and much more. Add a small amount to one side of the firebox to cook for a small party. Fill the base of the firebox for an even cooking heat right across the grill surface when cooking for larger parties.
3. Kiln Dried Kindling
One net of kiln dried kindling. Great to get the fire going. Using the appliance for heating only? Build a “Jenga” like tower of kindling with a firelighter on top, let the kindling burn for a few minutes then add one of our kiln dried ash logs for toasty heat!
4. Waxling Firelighters
One bag of Waxling natural firelighters containing approximately 40 firelighters per bag. Made from wood wool and wax these, combined with our kindling are are great way to light your Chesneys appliance or any other fires! One or two is usually sufficient to get a fire roaring.
5. Stove Glass Cleaning Kit
Containing our Trollull glass cleaning pads and Valiant spray on glass cleaner. Firstly, wipe off any easy to remove suit with some kitchen roll or a damp cloth. Then, apply some of Valiant glass cleaner and leave for about a minute. Finally, wipe with cleaner off with the course side of the Trollull cleaning pad for sparkling glass. It’s best to avoid getting the spray on cleaner on the paint work of the appliance if possible and we’d suggest using rubber cleaning gloves.
6. Long Matches
One pack of Long Matches to get the party started!
7. A Calido Firestarter Box
Everything you need to set your first fire. If you could send us some pics of the box beside your new Chesney appliance that would be amazing 🙂

We will not be held liable for any deemed loss in value due to these substitutions where they are provided free of charge.
Delivery of the care pack will be separate to any Chesneys Heat appliance purchased if you select the White Glove Delivery Service or if the bundle is purchased on its own. It will be your responsibility to dispose of the pallet used for delivery of the care bundle.
The care bundle will be delivered on the same pallet as your Heat BBQ if you select Standard Pallet Delivery for your HEAT appliance.
Delivery will be via Palletline on an 8am to 6pm service, Monday to Friday. Once we receive an order we will contact you by phone or email to arrange a suitable delivery date. The goods are delivered on pallet with a kerbside delivery service. Disposal of the pallet is the customers responsibility.
Specific delivery information relating to Logs, Briquettes, Stoves, Pizza Ovens & BBQ's and Garden Compost Products
Important Restrictions to consider:
We use pallet trucks to move the pallets and these can only be used on firm, level ground such as concrete tarmac or monoblock. We cannot use them on loose gravel or slopes so an alternative location will need to be identified.
Terrain must be relatively level to operate the tail-lift. This should be considered for sites on a slope as it may be too dangerous to unload the vehicle on certain slopes.
The lorry has a tail lift that allows the driver to get the logs/stove/oven off the vehicle, the goods will be packed on a pallet and the driver will have a pallet truck to move it.
Our "Pallet Delivery" is a one man kerbside delivery service. The goods will arrive on a lorry that is about the size of a fire engine. (Please let us know in advance if you have restricted access).
Whilst the delivery is classed as kerbside the driver will usually try wheel the pallet as close as possible to your property, if you have a garage and terrain allows they may be able to wheel it into there for you. This decision is completely up to the driver on the day and some depots insist on kerbside delivery only. Basically you should be prepared for kerbside delivery with anything else being a bonus!
The pallets are normally about a 1.2m wide so this is the minimum width gate they can fit through.
Please note that the driver is not insured to unpack or carry the goods into your house.
You'll be asked to select your preferred delivery date when purchasing the goods. In most cases we deliver on your preferred date, if we can't for any reason we'll be in touch to arrange another suitable date. We cannot guarantee a specific delivery date for some PA, PH, IV, KW HS & ZE postcodes. If you need the delivery on a specific date please contact us before ordering.
Please note pallet deliveries are a 8am to 6pm service. An Estimated Times of Arrival may be provided by Calido Fuels Ltd or our carrier in good faith. These ETA's are not absolute as events can occur that mean impact these.
