Hotties Heat Logs are similar to Verdo Briquettes but have a lower moisture content so burn hotter (moisture content less than 10%) and more compact than normal logs which means they burn for a lot longer. They burn with an intense heat and produce a minimum amount of ash (less than 0.7%).

The heat logs are supplied in easily managed packs, each containing 12 briquettes and weighing approximately 9kg per pack.

The briquettes are brittle and can easily be broken by hand for smaller stoves. There are 100 packs on each pallet – total pallet weight is circa 900kgs

The briquettes must be stored in dry conditions.

Hotties Mini Heat Logs are a good alternative to Firewood or Verdo Briquettes. Mini Hotties are manufactured from virgin wood chip and meet all the top standards of sustainability and quality such as being HETAS approved.  Not to be mistaken for recycled wood briquettes, these Hotties Heat Logs are made from 100% virgin wood some are free of contamination often found in inferior products. The briquettes are supplied in easily managed packs, each containing 12 briquettes and weighing approximately 9kg per pack. There are 100 packs on each full pallet – total pallet weight around 900kgs. The briquettes are delivered on a pallet and will arrive 3 – 5 days after ordering. Full pallets of 100 heat logs will  be delivered by our delivery partner on a large tail lift vehicle. We can deliver a smaller amount of  heat logs locally around Stirling, Bridge of Allan, Dunblane, Alloa and Falkirk with a small vehicle if required.  The briquettes are delivered on the pallet – disposal of the pallet is the customers responsibility.

Important Restrictions to consider:

We use pallet trucks to move the pallets and these can only be used on firm, level ground such as concrete tarmac or monoblock. We cannot use them on loose gravel or slopes so an alternative location will need to be identified.

Terrain must be relatively level to operate the tail-lift. This should be considered for sites on a slope as it may be too dangerous to unload the vehicle on certain slopes.
