Our Calido Fire Log Briquettes are a premium, UK-produced fuel made from locally sourced sawmill residues – a sustainable and environmentally conscious choice for wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves, as well as open fires. These briquettes offer excellent performance and are suitable for a wide range of stove types without needing to be broken up before use.
Each briquette measures approximately 280 mm x 75 mm x 75 mm, with a calorific value of around 4.8 kWh/kg and an average burn time of 1.5 to 2 hours on an established fire. After burning, they can continue to glow for up to another hour, giving a total glow time of up to 3 hours depending on stove type and usage.
Thanks to their high density and compacted form, these briquettes expand less than other heat logs, offering a clean and efficient burn with minimal mess. However, due to their density, we recommend adding them to an already established fire or using a good amount of kindling if starting from cold. Their square shape means they stay neatly in place in your stove or firebox, rather than rolling around like some other heat logs

Each pack contains 6 briquettes and weighs around 10 kg (subject to raw material type and moisture content). These briquettes are sized to fit most stoves and can also be used in wood-fired pizza ovens.
Free nationwide delivery is available to most UK mainland postcodes. Delivery is made via a tail lift vehicle, so please ensure you can accept delivery at your property before placing an order.
Select your preferred delivery date at checkout. Orders placed before 12:00 pm can arrive as soon as the next working day.
These briquettes must be stored in dry conditions, and the pallet is the customer’s responsibility to dispose of after delivery.
