Our Calido HotBlox® Fire Log Briquettes are a great entry-level briquette, UK-produced from locally sourced sawmill residue - an excellent choice for those who value sustainability. Designed to suit a wide range of stoves, they require no breaking before use. While they expand slightly during burning, this is minimal compared to many other heat logs, thanks to their high compression and carefully selected raw materials. As they are made from natural sawmill residues, texture may vary slightly between batches.
This twin pack contains 2 packs of 12 briquettes (24 in total), with each pack weighing approximately 10 kg depending on wood species and moisture content. On an established fire, they offer a burn time of around 1 to 1.5 hours with an additional glowing period of up to 2 hours, though performance may vary depending on stove type and use. Due to their dense composition, they’re best added to an already lit fire, and if used from cold, a generous amount of kindling is recommended.
These briquettes are designed to fit most stoves and are suitable for open fires, wood-burning stoves, and multi-fuel stoves. Please note that they must be stored in dry conditions and the pallet is the customer’s responsibility to dispose of after delivery.
