  • Hotmax Pure Wood Eco Fuel Logs offer a clean, efficient and convenient alternative to traditional firewood. Manufactured in the UK from 100% natural recycled softwood particles, these high-density heat logs are compressed under pressure to create an ultra-dry fuel that burns hotter, cleaner and more consistently than many kiln-dried hardwood logs.

Available as a half pallet or full pallet of 20kg bags, this bulk option is ideal for homes that regularly use wood fuel and want a reliable supply of high-performance heat logs throughout the season.

    Pallet options available:

    • Half pallet – 25 bags (20kg per bag)
    • Full pallet – 50 bags (20kg per bag)

Hotmax logs are suitable for wood burning stoves, multi-fuel burners, open fires, chimineas and fire pits. Their dense structure produces strong heat with very low emissions and minimal ash, making them a practical and environmentally responsible fuel choice.

    • 100% natural recycled wood fuel
    • High density for long, efficient burn times
    • Virtually smokeless performance
    • Low ash residue and easy clean-up
    • Supplied in convenient 20kg bags

Thanks to their low moisture content and compressed design, Hotmax logs are quick and easy to light. In many cases they can be ignited without kindling or firelighters by breaking a log into smaller pieces and lighting with a small amount of paper.

    • Easy to ignite and simple to handle
    • Produces fast, powerful heat
    • Clean and dust-free fuel
    • Suitable for indoor and outdoor heating

Sustainability is at the heart of Hotmax fuel logs. Produced using by-products from British sawmills and sourced from responsibly managed forests, they provide a renewable heating solution. The small amount of ash produced is completely natural and can even be composted or used in the garden.

For those looking to stock up on a reliable, clean-burning fuel, Hotmax Pure Wood Eco Fuel Logs delivered on a half or full pallet provide excellent performance and long-lasting value.

  • Delivery Vehicles & Access:

    • Nationwide deliveries are made using 18-tonne lorries via Palletline and local deliveries in the Stirling area are usually made by a 12-tonne delivery vehicle with our own driver.
    • Smaller vehicles may be available on request, but this cannot be guaranteed. If you need a smaller vehicle, please notify our team each time you order.
    • Full Pallets of Briquettes will always be delivered on the larger 18 tonne vehicles - they cannot be delivered on small 7.5 tonne vehicles due to the weight limits restriction on the tail lifts.

    Delivery & Unloading Process:

    • Deliveries are kerbside only, but where possible, the driver may move the pallet closer to your property if terrain allows.
    • The lorry is equipped with a tail lift and the driver will use a pallet truck to unload your goods.
    • Important: Pallet trucks can only be used on firm, level ground such as concrete, tarmac, or monoblock. They cannot be used on slopes, loose gravel, grass, or mud, so an alternative drop-off location would be required.

    Space & Access Requirements:

    • The delivery lorry is approximately the size of a fire engine. If you have restricted access, please inform us before ordering.
    • Pallets are about 1.2 m wide, so ensure gates or entryways are wide enough to accommodate them.
    • Drivers are not insured to unpack or carry goods into your house.

Empty Crate & Pallet Collection Policy:

    • Disposal of crates and pallets is the customer’s responsibility.
    • Delivery drivers are unable to collect empty crates or pallets after delivery. This is due to carrier restrictions – empty crates can be classed as waste, requiring a waste carrier’s licence, and vehicles often do not have space to take them back.
    • Many customers cut the crates up for kindling (they’re kiln-dried, so ideal for this), or offer them for free on local selling pages, where they’re often collected quickly.

Your Firewood Questions Answered

  • Birch lights very easily and gives a lively, bright flame with fast heat output - perfect for quick fires and smaller stoves.
  • Ash burns steadily and produces excellent heat, making it a great all-rounder for regular use.
  • Oak is a dense hardwood that burns slowly with long-lasting heat and a steady flame - ideal for long, slow-burning fires.
  • All three species are high-quality kiln dried hardwoods and suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

Yes, all of our logs are kiln dried to a moisture content of below 20% and are Ready to Burn certified. All our briquettes are also Ready to Burn approved and the moisture content is usually around 10%. This makes our logs and briquettes perfectly suited for wood burning stoves, multi-fuel stoves, open fires, firepits and pizza ovens.

Yes, as they are low moisture, our logs and briquettes burn cleanly and efficiently with minimal smoke, less soot build-up and very little residue. This helps protect your stove, chimney or flue while producing more heat from every log.

No, once logs have been used, it’s the customer’s responsibility to dispose of or repurpose the crate or pallet. Many customers find they’re great for kindling storage or as garden planters.
