Our Calido Wood Briquettes are premium, UK-produced briquettes made from locally sourced sawmill residue, offering an eco-friendly and sustainable heating option. Designed as an ideal replacement for the original Verdo briquettes, these round briquettes are slightly shorter than their predecessors, making them suitable for a wider range of stoves without needing to be broken apart.
Unlike many other briquettes, Calido Wood Briquettes are free from added resins, ensuring a clean and efficient burn. Their high-density compaction means they expand minimally when burning, delivering a reliable and mess-free experience.
This twin pack contains 2 packs of 5 briquettes (10 briquettes in total), with each briquette weighing approximately 2 kg depending on moisture content. They’re perfect for anyone seeking a sustainable, high-performance heating solution. Please note, briquettes may need to be halved for small stoves and open fires due to expansion.

Yes, all of our logs are kiln dried to a moisture content of below 20% and are Ready to Burn certified. This makes our logs and briquettes perfectly suited for wood burning stoves, multi-fuel stoves, open fires, firepits and pizza ovens.
