Our standard kiln-dried birch firewood crate, with an approximate loose volume of ~1.73m³ offers excellent value and convenience, with logs that are shorter and more manageable than those in our standard birch crates. These logs are a perfect match for pizza ovens, fire pits, and smaller stoves – ready to use straight from the crate, no chopping required. Birch is known for its bright flame and quick ignition, delivering reliable heat with minimal moisture (under 20%, typically around 15%).
Neatly stacked and delivered in a wooden crate that also works well as a temporary log store, this product is ideal for homes with limited storage space. Many customers also repurpose the crate for kindling once it’s empty. Disposal of empty crates is the customer’s responsibility.
For more flexible handling, our kiln-dried birch is also available in net bags.

Yes, all of our logs are kiln dried to a moisture content of below 20% and are Ready to Burn certified. All our briquettes are also Ready to Burn approved and the moisture content is usually around 10%. This makes our logs and briquettes perfectly suited for wood burning stoves, multi-fuel stoves, open fires, firepits and pizza ovens.
Yes, as they are low moisture, our logs and briquettes burn cleanly and efficiently with minimal smoke, less soot build-up and very little residue. This helps protect your stove, chimney or flue while producing more heat from every log.
