  • Discover the Benefits of the Standard Kiln Dried Firewood Crate & Ignition Bundle

This fuel bundle brings together everything you need for easy, reliable fire lighting in one convenient delivery. It combines a standard crate of premium kiln-dried logs with a complete ignition saver bundle, giving you high-quality firewood plus all the essentials to get your fire started quickly and effortlessly.

    Each bundle includes:

    • 1 x standard 1.06 metre stacked crate of kiln-dried logs - approximate loose volume of around 1.73 m³
    • 1 x ignition saver bundle - 10 nets of premium kindling & 2 bags of Waxling natural firelighters

    Choose your log type

Birch – quick heat and bright flames

    • Fast to light and easy to burn
    • Lively, attractive flame pattern
    • Perfect for quick warm-ups and everyday fires

    Ash – steady, reliable performance

    • Consistent, even burn
    • Strong and dependable heat output
    • Excellent all-round firewood choice

    Oak – long-lasting warmth

    • Slow, extended burn time
    • Outstanding heat retention
    • Ideal for longer, sustained fires
    • Due to natural variations in oak as a raw material, log sizes can vary significantly. As a result, oak crates and nets may contain a wider mix of small and large logs compared to birch or ash, which typically offer more uniform log sizes. If you’d prefer smaller or larger logs, please let us know in the order notes and we’ll do our best to accommodate. As with all natural products, exact sizes can’t be guaranteed.

All logs supplied in this bundle are Ready to Burn certified, kiln-dried to approximately 15 percent moisture and cut to around 25 cm lengths. This makes them suitable for wood burning stoves, open fires, pizza ovens and chimineas.

    About the ignition saver bundle

    • 2 bags of clean-burning Waxling firelighters
    • Natural, odourless and simple to use
    • Ideal for stoves, open fires and outdoor fire pits

Why this bundle works so well

This bundle gives you the perfect combination of fuel and fire-starting essentials. Please note: Disposal of empty crates is the customer’s responsibility. Many customers choose to reuse them for log or kindling storage, garden projects or general household storage. Image not to scale.

  • Delivery Vehicles & Access:

    • Nationwide deliveries are made using 18-tonne lorries via Palletline and local deliveries in the Stirling area are usually made by a 12-tonne delivery vehicle with our own driver.
    • Smaller vehicles may be available on request, but this cannot be guaranteed. If you need a smaller vehicle, please notify our team each time you order.
    • Full Pallets of Briquettes will always be delivered on the larger 18 tonne vehicles - they cannot be delivered on small 7.5 tonne vehicles due to the weight limits restriction on the tail lifts.

    Delivery & Unloading Process:

    • Deliveries are kerbside only, but where possible, the driver may move the pallet closer to your property if terrain allows.
    • The lorry is equipped with a tail lift and the driver will use a pallet truck to unload your goods.
    • Important: Pallet trucks can only be used on firm, level ground such as concrete, tarmac, or monoblock. They cannot be used on slopes, loose gravel, grass, or mud, so an alternative drop-off location would be required.

    Space & Access Requirements:

    • The delivery lorry is approximately the size of a fire engine. If you have restricted access, please inform us before ordering.
    • Pallets are about 1.2 m wide, so ensure gates or entryways are wide enough to accommodate them.
    • Drivers are not insured to unpack or carry goods into your house.

Empty Crate & Pallet Collection Policy:

    • Disposal of crates and pallets is the customer’s responsibility.
    • Delivery drivers are unable to collect empty crates or pallets after delivery. This is due to carrier restrictions – empty crates can be classed as waste, requiring a waste carrier’s licence, and vehicles often do not have space to take them back.
    • Many customers cut the crates up for kindling (they’re kiln-dried, so ideal for this), or offer them for free on local selling pages, where they’re often collected quickly.

  • Oak is a dense hardwood that burns slowly with long-lasting heat and a steady flame - ideal for long, slow-burning fires.
  • All three species are high-quality kiln dried hardwoods and suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

Yes, all of our logs are kiln dried to a moisture content of below 20% and are Ready to Burn certified. All our briquettes are also Ready to Burn approved and the moisture content is usually around 10%. This makes our logs and briquettes perfectly suited for wood burning stoves, multi-fuel stoves, open fires, firepits and pizza ovens.

Yes, as they are low moisture, our logs and briquettes burn cleanly and efficiently with minimal smoke, less soot build-up and very little residue. This helps protect your stove, chimney or flue while producing more heat from every log.

No, once logs have been used, it’s the customer’s responsibility to dispose of or repurpose the crate or pallet. Many customers find they’re great for kindling storage or as garden planters.
