With the Husqvarna EPOS™ Plug-in Kit and Automower®, you can enjoy a wireless operation that ensures the utmost convenience and efficiency. Simply add an optional GPS receiver and plug-in adaptor to achieve a truly state-of-the-art lawn care solution.
If you have a shaded area around trees or behind a building where GPS signal may be limited it is possible to use a boundary wire for that section of the installation. The mower will cut in a random pattern inside this wired area as it needs strong GPS signal for systematic mowing.
For EPOS Direct installation only the plug-in module is required. A reference station could be added at a later date if cellular or GPS signal are not sufficient enough to guide the mower effectively. For greatest accuracy we always recommend using a reference station where possible.
