Oak is a dense hardwood that burns slowly, producing sustained heat and a steady flame. This makes it an excellent choice for longer fires and occasions where you want to keep your stove burning for extended periods without the faster burn associated with lighter hardwoods.
Professionally kiln dried to a moisture content of below 20% and Ready to Burn approved, our Oak logs provide clean and efficient combustion with minimal smoke, allowing you to enjoy the naturally slow-burning characteristics of Oak without the high moisture levels associated with unseasoned firewood.
Each bulk bag contains approximately 0.8 loose cubic metres of premium Oak firewood, with logs cut to approximately 25cm (+/-10%) to suit most wood-burning stoves, multi-fuel stoves, open fires and fire pits.
The loose-filled bulk bag format provides a convenient alternative to a full crate and is particularly useful for topping up an existing log store or where a smaller quantity of premium Oak firewood is required.
For best results, we recommend transferring your logs to a dry, well-ventilated log store after delivery, as the bulk bag is designed for transportation rather than long-term outdoor storage.
