  • Large Kiln Dried Firewood Crate and Fire Log Bundle

This Large Kiln Dried Firewood Crate fuel bundle combines a large crate of premium kiln-dried logs with 24 packs of Calido Fire Log Briquettes, giving you a convenient mix of natural firewood and high-performance compressed fuel in one delivery.

    Each bundle includes:

    • 1 x large 1.06 metre stacked crate of kiln-dried logs
    • Approximate loose volume of ~2.23 m³
    • 24 packs of Calido Fire Log Briquettes
    • Briquettes arranged in three rows of eight packs

    Choose your log type

Birch – quick heat and bright flames

    • Fast to light
    • Lively, attractive flame
    • Ideal for getting fires started quickly

    Ash – steady, reliable performance

    • Consistent, even burn
    • Strong everyday heat output
    • Clean and dependable fuel

    Oak – long-lasting warmth

    • Slow, extended burn time
    • Excellent heat retention
    • Perfect for longer, sustained fires
    • Due to natural variations in oak as a raw material, log sizes can vary significantly. As a result, oak crates and nets may contain a wider mix of small and large logs compared to birch or ash, which typically offer more uniform log sizes. If you’d prefer smaller or larger logs, please let us know in the order notes and we’ll do our best to accommodate. As with all natural products, exact sizes can’t be guaranteed.

All logs are Ready to Burn certified, kiln-dried to around 15% moisture, and cut to approximately 25 cm, making them suitable for most stoves, open fires and chimineas.

    About the briquettes

Calido Fire Log Briquettes are made in the UK from compressed sawmill residues.

    • Clean, sustainable fuel
    • Low ash content
    • Strong, consistent heat
    • Quick and easy to light
    • Each pack contains 6 briquettes (approx. 300 mm x 75 mm)

Why this bundle works so well

The logs give you natural flames and solid heat, while the briquettes provide quick ignition and long, steady burn times. Together, they create a flexible, efficient and great-value heating solution for the whole season.

Please note: Disposal of empty crates is the customer’s responsibility. Many customers reuse them for kindling storage or offer them locally for repurposing.

  • Delivery Vehicles & Access:

    • Nationwide deliveries are made using 18-tonne lorries via Palletline and local deliveries in the Stirling area are usually made by a 12-tonne delivery vehicle with our own driver.
    • Smaller vehicles may be available on request, but this cannot be guaranteed. If you need a smaller vehicle, please notify our team each time you order.
    • Full Pallets of Briquettes will always be delivered on the larger 18 tonne vehicles - they cannot be delivered on small 7.5 tonne vehicles due to the weight limits restriction on the tail lifts.

    Delivery & Unloading Process:

    • Deliveries are kerbside only, but where possible, the driver may move the pallet closer to your property if terrain allows.
    • The lorry is equipped with a tail lift and the driver will use a pallet truck to unload your goods.
    • Important: Pallet trucks can only be used on firm, level ground such as concrete, tarmac, or monoblock. They cannot be used on slopes, loose gravel, grass, or mud, so an alternative drop-off location would be required.

    Space & Access Requirements:

    • The delivery lorry is approximately the size of a fire engine. If you have restricted access, please inform us before ordering.
    • Pallets are about 1.2 m wide, so ensure gates or entryways are wide enough to accommodate them.
    • Drivers are not insured to unpack or carry goods into your house.

Empty Crate & Pallet Collection Policy:

    • Disposal of crates and pallets is the customer’s responsibility.
    • Delivery drivers are unable to collect empty crates or pallets after delivery. This is due to carrier restrictions – empty crates can be classed as waste, requiring a waste carrier’s licence, and vehicles often do not have space to take them back.
    • Many customers cut the crates up for kindling (they’re kiln-dried, so ideal for this), or offer them for free on local selling pages, where they’re often collected quickly.

  • Birch lights very easily and gives a lively, bright flame with fast heat output - perfect for quick fires and smaller stoves.
  • Ash burns steadily and produces excellent heat, making it a great all-rounder for regular use.
  • Oak is a dense hardwood that burns slowly with long-lasting heat and a steady flame - ideal for long, slow-burning fires.
  • All three species are high-quality kiln dried hardwoods and suitable for indoor or outdoor use.

Yes, all of our logs are kiln dried to a moisture content of below 20% and are Ready to Burn certified. All our briquettes are also Ready to Burn approved and the moisture content is usually around 10%. This makes our logs and briquettes perfectly suited for wood burning stoves, multi-fuel stoves, open fires, firepits and pizza ovens.

Yes, as they are low moisture, our logs and briquettes burn cleanly and efficiently with minimal smoke, less soot build-up and very little residue. This helps protect your stove, chimney or flue while producing more heat from every log.

No, once logs have been used, it’s the customer’s responsibility to dispose of or repurpose the crate or pallet. Many customers find they’re great for kindling storage or as garden planters.
