Explore the Features of the RB73 Quaruba XL Outdoor Fireplace
The RB73 Quaruba XL Outdoor Fireplace is a tall, design-led outdoor fireplace that creates a strong focal point in larger gardens and patios. Handmade in Holland from heavy-duty CorTen steel, it’s built to handle year-round outdoor use. The fixed base makes it ideal for more permanent installations where you want structure, balance, and presence.
The XL model is the middle sized model with a height of 95cm to the top of the firebox. This terrace stove is an original design and it can be assembled with 1 glass fronted panel and three solid panels up to 4 glass sides which is the most popular option as it allows a view of the fire from all sides.
Key Benefits
- Tall, architectural design for visual impact
- Fixed installation for a premium, built-in feel
- Closed firebox with glass panels for controlled burning
- CorTen steel construction for long-term durability
- Ideal for larger outdoor spaces
Ideal For
- Medium to large patios with a fixed seating layout
- Customers creating a permanent outdoor living area
- Design-focused gardens with a strong focal point
- Extending outdoor entertaining into cooler evenings
For a cleaner and safer setup, the RB73 floor plate protects surfaces and creates a defined base. Adding the RB73 spark catcher helps reduce sparks, particularly in more open gardens. Pair with kiln-dried logs for the best performance.
The long chimney is included as standard and is made up of two 1 metre sections plus a rain cowl, providing both height and effective smoke control straight out of the box. The chimney also ensures smoke is dispersed from the immediate area allowing a more pleasurable experience and less sore eyes than you get sitting around a chiminea!
*The RB73 range features a heat-resistant stone in the base or sufficient clearance between the fire and the ground, allowing placement on decking due to minimal downward heat transfer. While these are closed appliances, making them much safer than a firepit, care should still be taken when lighting or refuelling. A suitable hearth plate (sold separately) should be used where necessary to protect against falling embers.
