Kirami Sauna Delivery Service

At Calido, we take great care to ensure your Kirami Sauna arrives safely and is set up correctly.
Due to the size and weight of these products, deliveries are handled differently from standard pallet deliveries.

Delivery

• We offer delivery across the UK for all Kirami saunas, supported by our partners at Kirami UK.
• Delivery is included in the price of all Saunas and ANNEX modules for most of the UK. Scottish Highlands & Islands and UK Islands are all subject to additional charges. Please ask us for a quote prior to placing your order.

Choosing the Location

• If you already have a place in mind for your sauna or ANNEX modules, we’ll ask you to provide what3words locations for:
  
• Where a delivery vehicle can access
• Where the sauna will be positioned on your property
  
• We’ll also need a short walkthrough video or a series of photos showing the route between these two points.
• Please let us know about any obstacles, tight access points, or height restrictions in advance. If lifting equipment such as a crane or telehandler may be needed, it’s helpful to highlight any overhead cables or services too.

Preparing the Base

• Once your order is confirmed, you’ll need to prepare a base of the correct size and specification. A solid, level foundation is essential.
• If your setup includes multiple modules, the base must be level across the entire area, with no more than a 5mm variation. If the base isn’t suitable, installation may need to be rescheduled, which could incur an additional charge.
• We’re always happy to advise on the best base for your ground conditions and chosen products. You can also find helpful guidance in the product manuals on the Kirami website, including base preparation details and additional tips. Also of help is page 46 of the Sauna Brochure 2024
  

Delivery and Installation on Site

• Offloading your sauna and ANNEX modules is included within a 3m radius of the delivery vehicle.
• If you have lifting equipment on-site (such as a forklift or telehandler), please let us know. We can provide pallet fork extensions and an experienced team to assist.
• Where possible, we’ll use the lorry’s hiab crane to place the sauna within 3m of the vehicle. If that’s not feasible, we’ll move it into position using suitable equipment, depending on the surface and distance.
• Please note that hired machinery or crane services are not included in our free UK installation. If these are required, we’ll work with you to arrange a quote.
• Your sauna will be fully set up and commissioned on the day of delivery, and all packaging will be removed from site.

Electric, Water & Drainage

• Your sauna will be fully set up and commissioned on the day of delivery, and all packaging will be removed from site.
• The small Misty sauna (standard 6.8kW heater) uses a single-phase connection, with a 3-phase option available on request.
• Heaters over 9kW require a 3-phase supply. Some medium saunas can be fitted with 6kW single-phase heaters on request.
• Wood-fired saunas and ANNEX modules require a standard 13A connection for LED lighting only.
• Shower units will need a ½” hosepipe water connection.
• Drainage can either be a soakaway or connected to mains drainage. Water usage from cleaning the sauna is minimal, while shower wastewater will vary depending on use.

Delivery Timescales

• Delivery can be anywhere from 4-12 weeks from date of order. After you place your order, we'll be in touch, usually within 48 hours to discuss delivery and to book a delivery date.
