  • Calido Wood Briquettes are a high-quality, UK-produced fuel option made from locally sourced sawmill residue – an ideal choice for those who value sustainability, clean burning, and convenience.

These briquettes are designed as a modern replacement for the original square Verdo briquettes previously offered. Slightly shorter and now round in shape, they are more compact and better suited to a wider range of wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves, without the need to break them down. Unlike Verdo briquettes, Calido Wood Briquettes are made with no added resins, making them a cleaner, more natural option.

Each briquette measures approximately 260 mm x 90 mm, offering a calorific value of around 4.8 kWh/kg. On an established fire, they provide an average burn time of around 1.5 hours, depending on stove type and conditions. While they do expand slightly during burning, their expansion is significantly less than many other heat logs on the market, thanks to the quality of the raw materials and the density achieved during production.

Each pack contains 5 briquettes, with each briquette weighing around 2 kg, subject to moisture content at the time of manufacturing.

Available in the following pallet sizes to suit your needs:

    • Full Pallet – 96 packs
    • 3/4 Pallet – 72 packs
    • Half Pallet – 48 packs
    • Quarter Pallet – 24 packs

Free delivery is included to most UK mainland postcodes, and you can select your preferred delivery date at checkout for added convenience. These briquettes are also suitable for use in wood-fired pizza ovens, in addition to stoves and open fires.

Calido Wood Briquettes offer a clean, efficient, and reliable heating option with minimal mess – a smart, sustainable alternative to traditional firewood.
