The RB73 Piquia is a compact yet powerful wood-burning stove, designed to bring warmth and atmosphere to any outdoor space. With its bold industrial styling and clean geometry, this patio heater is built from robust 3 mm CorTen steel, a material renowned for its strength, weather resistance and timeless rustic finish. Over time, the Piquia develops its own distinctive patina as it naturally weathers outdoors, offering both durability and charm.
The Piquia features a secure combustion chamber enclosed behind a ceramic glass door, delivering higher internal temperatures and a more efficient, cleaner burn than traditional open stoves. A galvanised steel handle and stainless steel lock bolts contrast beautifully with the warm, weathered finish of the body, enhancing the stove’s industrial aesthetic. An integrated air spoiler helps to keep the glass clear, giving an uninterrupted view of the flames.
This model comes in a four-legged version for stable positioning and includes a rear-access ash pan for convenient cleaning. The rain hood comes as standard to protect the flue system, and several accessory options are available to customise your setup, including a spark catcher for the rain hood, a CorTen steel floor plate (745 × 595 mm), and extension flue pipes in lengths of 575 mm or 975 mm. You can also choose an extra-long flue (+275 mm) for added clearance and visual height.
Measuring 40 × 40 × 201 cm and weighing 45 kg, the Piquia is a compact unit that suits a variety of garden or patio layouts. As with all CorTen products, some runoff is to be expected during the initial rusting phase, but once fully weathered, the surface stabilises with minimal transfer.
The RB73 Quaruba range have a heat resistant stone in their base making them suitable for use on decking as there is very little downward heat transfer. While they are a closed appliance which makes them much safer than a firepit care should still be exercised when lighting or refuelling and a suitable heart plate (sold separately) should be used if deemed necessary.
